The outpouring of tributes and support come after Martin, 17, was fatally shot by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida back in February.
Trayvon, who was African American, was walking through a gated community to the home of his father's girlfriend after a trip to a store to purchase snacks. Zimmerman told police that the youth attacked him, but the case has led to nationwide interest and calls from civil-rights advocates and others for Zimmerman's arrest.
Trayvon was unarmed, police said.
