TAMPA -- Get in on one of the hottest festivals gracing Tampa's Curtis Hixon Park at a discounted price when early-bird tickets for the Gasparilla Music Fest go on sale Tuesday.

GMF in its 6th year has hosted a diverse range of bands ranging from The Flaming Lips to Erykah Badu and next year's festival, happening on March 11-12, 2017, will bring more eclectic sounds to downtown Tampa.

"Our early bird tickets sell out every year. We love that our loyal supporters can get tickets at an affordable price and have access to two days of great live music, food and people" GMF organizer David Cox said.

Two-day general admission tickets will be on sale Tuesday for $40. Two-day VIP passes will be $115. To purchase them, head to www.gmftickets.com. The tickets will be available at 9:00 a.m.

The initial lineup for GMF will be released on November 16.
