MIAMI - Thousands of people flocked to downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park for the first day of the 20th anniversary of the Ultra Music Festival.

Several prominent DJs entertained festival goers on the main stage of the first of the three-day event, including Axwell and Ingrosso, DJ Snake, Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Oliver Heldens and Kungs.

Axwell and Ingrosso made up two of the three members of the iconic trio known as Swedish House Mafia. The rumor around this year’s festival is the group will announce a reunion. There is an unannounced artist on Sunday night at the festival’s main stage.

The group formerly known as Swedish House Mafia, whose third member was Steve Angello, ended its "One Last Tour" at Ultra in March 2013.

Other prominent performers Friday included Carl Cox and Empire of the Sun.
