Dr. BBQ is working closely with Datz and Dough for a new restaurant!
Before Ray Lampe, AKA “Dr. BBQ,” quit the family trucking business to become a full-time pit master, Lampe spent 15 years testing different barbecue cooking styles, participating in competitions and shifting his growing interest in barbecue from a serious hobby into a career. Today, Lampe is one of the most recognizable professional pit masters in the world and he stopped by to promote his new cookbook, “Ray Lampe's Big Green Egg Cookbook: Grill, Smoke, Bake & Roast” and talk about his new partnership with Datz.
There will also be a book signing held at Datz, October 12th, 4-7pm.
