PASCO COUNTY, Fla. -- The kitten found tied up by Pasco County deputies is recovering nicely.

Now named Sig, after the agency's duty gun, has a clean bill of health after a couple trips to the vet, according to the sheriff's office.

He had several furry siblings -- a cat sister and brother, and a dog brother -- plus three humans. He eats all day and likes to run around like a mad man at 2 a.m. every morning, which he thinks his family loves.

The kitten was rescued last month after being found tied up and in poor condition. An officer then adopted him.
