The online delivery service gives customers access to menus of more than 50 restaurants, including Duval’s Fresh Local Seafood, Jpan Restaurant, Mattison’s City Grille and Salute! Restaurant.

“Sarasota has a fantastic local restaurant community and we are thrilled to be a part of it,” said Juan UbeEATS Florida General Manager Pablo ‘JP’ Restrepo in a news release. “UberEATS is an easy and reliable way for restaurants to expand their customer base and for residents to discover new options in their own backyard.”

The coverage area includes Bee Ridge, downtown, Fruitville, Gulf Gate Estates, Lakewood Ranch, Siesta Key, St. Armands, South Sarasota, Sarasota Springs, the Meadows and North Sarasota.

Customers can place orders on the service’s app or website.

Deliveries are available 24-7, according to a news release from Uber. There is a $4.99 delivery fee for orders.

If a restaurant is interested, they can visit Uber’s website to learn how to work with UberEATS.
