MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- The Marion County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing and endangered man Thursday.

According to police, 35-year-old Walter Lewis Howe was last seen leaving a home located in the 12000 block of Southeast 139th Ct. in Ocklawaha around 8 a.m.

He was seen wearing a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. Walter has a full sleeve of tattoos on his left arm with a rebel flag on his right shoulder. He has a "Let's Play", a puzzle piece on his left hand, and "Misty" in large letters on his back.

He has said things in the past that have caused concern for his safety.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
