2017 Tampa Bay election results: Kriseman beats Baker for St. Petersburg mayor

We're following all of the races across the area

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - It was Rick versus Rick for mayor.

And the Rick who is currently mayor will remain so.

Rick Kriseman defeated Rick Baker with 51 percent of the vote to earn a second term as mayor.

Kriseman gained 34,531 votes to Baker's 32,341 votes, according to unofficial county results.

County voters approved extending the Penny for Pinellas one-cent tax for 10 more years while city residents voted for city leaders to continue managing Walter Fuller Park for no more than 20 years and allowing The Vinoy Renaissance Resort to build a parking deck.
