A rock icon will be in Tampa a few days before the election to throw his support behind Hillary Clinton.

On Nov. 5, Jon Bon Jovi will host a Get Out The Vote (GOTV) performance for Hillary Clinton in Tampa as part of Hillary for America's "Love Trumps Hate" performance series, the Clinton campaign said.

Bon Jovi is a Grammy Award winning musician, singer and songwriter whose self-named band has sold over 130 million albums worldwide. They have performed over 2,800 concerts in 50 countries for more than 35 million fans.

Bon Jovi, a New Jersey native, joked earlier this summer during his final Runaway Tours concert in New York City that he would be "Secretary of Entertainment" in a Clinton White House. During the New Jersey primary, Bon Jovi also joined Hillary Clinton and Senator Cory Booker at Rutgers University - Newark for a GOTV rally, where he introduced Clinton and affirmed his support for her.

Details about the event, including time, location and how to get tickets, will be released soon.
