St. Petersburg, Fl - If you're a foodie, then the St. Pete Wine and Food Festival is for you. Grand Tastings are going on under the giant white tents set up in St. Pete's North Straub Park. One ticket gets you in the gate and then put your wallet away. You can sample as much as you want from dozens of restaurants and wine vendors. There are also cooking demonstrations and you might see from folks from 10News out there too--so be sure and say “Hi”.

Head down Central Avenue from the waterfront and you’ll run into Folkfest St. Pete. A variety of bands are playing and you’ll find plenty of art for sale. This is a benefit for Creative Clay. This not-for-profit provides arts programming for people with developmental, physical, and emotional disabilities.

Across the bay, in Tampa's Curtis Hixon Park the Straz Center has an afternoon of free entertainment planned. Opera Tampa singers will perform some of their favorite arias and visiting Broadway artists will sing tunes from the shows Wicked, Cabaret and Motown the Musical. You can pack a picnic or sample items from various food trucks.

Latin music more to your taste? Well, there's a huge festival going on in Tampa called Conga Caliente. This is in Al Lopez Park. Leading Latin performers will help the crowd celebrate Hispanic Heritage. There will be ethnic foods and business exhibits too. This free admission festival runs from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
