WICHITA, Kan. - One child is dead, another child and a woman are in critical condition after being found with stab wounds Friday morning, according to CBS affiliate KWCH-12 in Wichita.

Wichita Police released information on two persons of interest in the case. Police say a citizen recognized one of the men, Hassan Wright, near 55th Street South and Broadway in Haysville. Wright was taken into custody without incident.

Police are still looking for Antonio Ray, who should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

There's no word yet on how all of the people involved are related, but we do know that the two young girls are sisters.

Officers were called to a parking lot at Lincoln and Oliver at 6:40 Friday morning. An employee arriving at work at a business in that area found an SUV that had apparently crashed into a minivan that was parked in the lot.

Police found a woman in her twenties and a young girl, aged five to seven, in that SUV with multiple stab wounds. The girl died from her injuries, the woman was taken to the hospital, where she's in critical condition.

Some time after 8:00 in the morning, crews were called to 77th Street North and Ridge, where another young girl, between four and six years old, was found with stab wounds. She was wandering in that area.

That girl was taken to the hospital where she is also in critical condition.

Police say they are investigating the situation as a homicide. Police say they are dealing with a very large scene and they do not know the circumstances surrounding what happened.

We looked into Hassan Wright's past and found he was convicted of 2nd Degree Murder in Wyandotte County back in 1988. According to his profile on the Kansas Department of Corrections' website, he has parole violations, warrants and disciplinary reports.

Wright is also a registered sex offender, citing a case from 2005 in Wichita.
