LAKELAND, Fla. -- Police are hoping the public will help find a murder suspect after a man was found shot to death in his apartment.
Authorities say they found 55-year-old Roderick Demetrius Childs in his apartment on Gilmore Avenue with an apparent gunshot wound.
Childs' white 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck had also been stolen from the apartment complex, however, it was later discovered.
