The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man accused of pushing a woman out of a moving car going about 75 mph.

The sheriff’s office has a warrant for Redmond Brown II’s arrest. He’s wanted on charges of attempted second-degree murder, battery, violation of an injuction and grand theft.

Brown and the woman were traveling in a black Honda Accord on Saturday, Feb. 17, on Highway 60 East and Silvio Road in Lake Wales, Florida, according to the sheriff’s office.

Redmond began punching the woman in the face and pushed her out of the car, the sheriff’s office said.

Other travelers on the road stopped to help the woman.

Investigators believe Redmond may still be driving around in the 2017 Honda Accord with the Florida tag 717TDH. Remond lives in the St. Petersburg area, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone with information on Redmond’s whereabouts is asked to call 1(800)226-8477.
