TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a man on Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened around 6:06 a.m. on West Park Avenue near North Massachusetts Avenue.
Tampa police said the shooting does not appear to be random.
The victim of the shooting has since been identified as 39-year-old William F. Alexander.
No arrests have been made in relation to the homicide and the investigation is ongoing.
