Longtime Walt Disney World fans were sad when the park pulled the plug on the glittering Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, but the resort is offering visitors a new holiday gift this year.
The resort announced "Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!" will run at Disney's Hollywood Studios from Nov. 14 to Dec. 31. The show appears to be reminiscent of "Celebrate the Magic" at Magic Kingdom, a multimedia spectacular which combines fireworks, music and images projected on Cinderella Castle.
"Watch in wonder as buildings and rooftops come alive, and immerse you in beloved scenes from Bambi, Cinderella and a special sequence from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. It all builds to a festive finale that must be seen—and heard—to be believed," the park said on its blog.
Disney's Hollywood Studios has been the recipient of renovation plans recently. The park closed several attractions, such as its studio tour and auto stunt show, to make room for "Star Wars" and "Toy Story" themed areas, which are due to open in the next couple of years.
