TAMPA BAY -- A freeze warning has been issued for parts of the Tampa Bay area.
The warning is for coastal Citrus, inland Hernando and inland Pasco Counties and is in effect from 4 a.m. until 8 a.m. Monday morning.
A freeze warning means temperatures are expected to drop below freezing, which could damage crops and other sensitive vegetation.
For the area under the freeze warning, temperatures are expected to be between 30 and 32 degrees from 1-3 hours early Monday morning.
