CLEARWATER, Fla. -- A golfer who was struck by lightning Friday morning has been upgraded to fair condition, according to the City of Clearwater.
Frank Sink, 76, had stepped out of his golf cart on the seventh hole at the Clearwater Country Club when he was struck at about 11 a.m., Clearwater Fire and Rescue said.
Sink was taken to Tampa General Hospital for treatment.
