BRADENTON, Fla. – Former faculty, staff and alumni of Bayshore High School have until the end of next week before the deadline to partake in a study with the Florida Department of Health.
The study is trying to figure out if the school is directly linked to dozens of cancer diagnoses.
A geologist said industrial sites up to three miles away from the school injected contaminants in the water. The water flowed south under the school and its wells.
The Florida Department of Health has extended the deadline until 5 p.m. Friday, March 30.
Completed patient information forms can be delivered in person or by mail.
