While all eyes are focused on Hurricane Matthew, Hurricane Nicole was upgraded to a category 2.
The 14th named storm of the hurricane season, Nicole has strengthened to become a hurricane but is expected to stay in the Atlantic Ocean, according to the National Hurricane Center in Miami.
As of 11:00 p.m. Thursday, Nicole is located 345 miles south of Bermuda.
Nicole has maximum sustained winds of 105 mph and is stationary in the Atlantic.
Hurricane Nicole is not expected to move out of its cone for five day and is no threat to land as of right now.
