TAMPA -- Jesuit High School students pitched in this Thanksgiving season by packing and delivering 168 baskets for needy families.

About 150 students, faculty and family members took part in the charitable event on Sunday as they packed turkeys, trimmings and side dishes into boxes. The boxes also contained cooking supplies and $50 gift cards to Walmart.

It was part of a month-long charity drive that raised more than $10,000 to purchase the Thanksgiving meals.

Some of the baskets went to 43 migrant families in East Hillsborough County and six families chosen thorough the Boys & Girls Club in Tampa.
