LECANTO, Fla. -- After authorities received reports of a double shooting at 7089 Gilbert Terrace, they received notification that mobile house was on fire.
The two victims weren't in the home, but were traveling on Highway 44 near the landfill when they were stopped by Citrus County deputies, then transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Officials did not immediately say what led to the shooting or the fire.
