HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. -- A driver in a Ford F150 was traveling westbound on Bearss Ave. near the intersection of 12th St. around 1:07 PM on Oct. 12, 2016, when the driver lost control and crashed into the rear of a Mack dump truck.
HCSO reported on its Twitter account that there is at least one fatality.

The driver of the Ford F150 attempted to pass traffic on the north shoulder when before he lost control, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. 34-year-old Jarrett Lemmey has been identified as the driver and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the dump truck had no injuries from the crash.
Westbound lanes of Bearss Ave. will be closed for several hours as deputies investigate the crash.
