A three-alarm fire razed a warehouse in east Tampa, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said.

The fire was reported at 6:20 p.m. at the warehouse at 56th Street and Hillsborough Avenue. The building is separated into multiple businesses, and the burning section is Florida Sleep Products, which manufactures mattresses.

First on the scene was Tampa Fire Rescue, followed by HCFR, who then took command of the scene. HCFR then called for more manpower because of the size of the fire.

Inside, firefighters found stacks of mattresses inside that had to be moved out to aid the effort to knock down the fire.

Fire officials said the blaze was under control about 9:45 p.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
