PLANT CITY, Fla. -- A fight between two men ended with one of them being stabbed to death.

James Michael Meeks, 23, is charged with second-degree murder for using a knife to kill 49-year-old Moses Wilson, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office news release.

The stabbing happened just after 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at 4308 James L. Redman Parkway, located south of Kilgore Road.

Deputies say Meeks got in some sort of argument with Wilson at his business, which also is his home. When Meeks began to threaten Wilson with a pocket knife, Wilson walked into his home to get away.

Meeks is accused of entering the home and stabbing Wilson several times in the legs and thigh. Wilson died at the scene.

Meeks was arrested and booked into the Orient Road Jail.
