Grief counselors to speak with Pinellas County students after Parkland shooting

Specially-trained grief counselors will attend Thursday's event, which is set from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Empath Health and Pinellas County Schools are set to hold a special evening of conversation to cope with the Feb. 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Specially-trained grief counselors will attend Thursday’s event, which is set from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Counselors will discuss how to cope, how to move forward and how to support others after the Parkland shooting.

Empath Health invites teens, parents, friends and teachers to the event.
