TAMPA - Police say a USF student was arrested after robbing a pizza delivery guy with a toy gun.

The incident happened outside the Holly Apartments on the USF campus just around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

South Florida Police Department received a report of an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver and when they responded, they made contact with the victim who advised that a male approached him with what appeared to be a handgun inside of his waistband as he was requesting the pizza for free. The driver fled the area and called police.

Officers were able to locate the suspect and he is identified as 20-year-old, Keoin Cantrell of Maitland, Fla. The student lived at the Holly Apartments.

The police were able to recover the black colored object from the suspect which turned out to be a toy handgun.

Cantrell was arrested and charged with armed robbery. He was transported to Orient Road Jail.
