A record rush to vote before Election Day in Florida. Over six million people have already voted statewide. In Hillsborough County, officials say already 49% of registered voters have already cast their ballots.

"I got school and work and stuff like that. My vote wouldn't have counted if I wasn't able to vote early," said Jovonte Wax who is voting in his first election.

"I have a newborn and I feel like this year is especially important for me to get out there and make sure my vote counts," said Candace Wiant.

Hillsborough County says 176,505 votes were sent by mail, 242,168 voted early there.

The polls will be open on Election Day from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M.
