NORTH PORT, Fla. -- Police ask for the public's help in finding a missing person with dementia.

Joyce Jacobs last was seen at her home around 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in the area of South Haberland Drive and Namiot Circle, according to a news release.

She last was seen wearing a grey shirt, blue jean shorts and brown sandals. Jacobs has a history of heart problems, diabetes and suffers from dementia, police say.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 941-426-3111.
