Tiny home questions? Here's a St. Pete festival just for you

The St. Pete Tiny Home Festival will take place at St. Petersburg College this weekend.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The tiny house movement - A way to downsize your living space and get rid of clutter that may weigh you down.

A tiny house is a residential structure under 500 square feet. They're often cheeper to own than a traditional home, easy to move and offer owners a chance to reduce their carbon footprint.

Of course, it’s not always easy to downsize to a tiny home. You have to eliminate a lot of material things and get use to having a lot less space. Depending on where you plan to live, there are some rules you must follow in setting up your tiny home.

Have questions?

This weekend you can have them answered at The St. Pete Tiny Home Festival where you can listen to tiny home experts speak, tour tiny home models and shop tiny home vendors
