As Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump collected more states and electoral votes, traffic increased and crashed the Canadian immigration site, according to a report from Gizmodo.
The site did seem to recover later, as seen here.
Americans had been joking that if Trump were to win the election they would flee north to Canada.
