TAMPA, Fla. -- A massive backup stretched to the Howard Frankland Bridge because of a deadly crash.

The crash between a dump truck and a car Monday, Nov. 13, blocked the two left lanes on northbound I-275 at Himes Avenue. The on-ramps from Dale Mabry/Himes to I-275 were closed as well.

One person is reported dead.

The highway since has been reopened to all traffic.

Traffic had been backed up for miles to the Howard Frankland Bridge.

The cause of the crash is not yet known.
