CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Southbound U.S. 19 before Roosevelt Boulevard has reopened following an early-morning crash.

Drivers began taking alternate routes after the crash was reported around 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23. Traffic was backed up along U.S. 19 for at least two hours while crews cleaned up the scene.

The cause of the crash is not yet known nor if anyone was hurt.
