LAKELAND, Fla. -- Who breaks into someone’s house in their underwear? That’s the question posed by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office after they caught a guy on video allegedly burglarizing a home.

The video is of 29-year-old Christopher Moody, who they dub the ‘Boxer Burglar.’ They say he showed up at a home on Eight Iron Drive in Lakeland Thursday night and noticed no one was home. Investigators say that’s when he took off his pants and started to take items out of the house.

The homeowner saw what was going on through a surveillance system and called the Polk Co. Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were able to show up and take Moody into custody. He’s now facing charges of burglary, criminal mischief and petit theft.

And investigators noted Moony had a little trouble keeping his boxers up during the alleged heist, saying “Maybe we should call Mr Moody "Mr Moony," because he apparently had a little trouble keeping his droopy drawers in place.”
