VALRICO, Fla. - A man rings the doorbell of a home on Folklore Drive, claiming he's looking for someone who doesn't live in the home.

The homeowner answers, his two dogs running through the door onto the front porch.

While the homeowner retrieves the dogs, he's sucker punched twice in the face by the stranger, who is wearing brass knuckles.

The incident happened on March 31 at about 2:51 p.m., but investigators didn't release video of the incident until Friday.

Hillsborough County deputies are searching for the man, described as:

  • Black male
  • Light complexion
  • Six feet, one inch tall
  • About 200 pounds
  • Muscular build
  • Tattoo on his right bicep
  • Last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, blue t-shirt, light blue jeans and blue athletic shoes. He was a passenger in a small silver 4-door vehicle.
