The two dogs were eventually captured.

There was a police chase in Arizona yesterday but not the type you're probably thinking of.

It may very well go down as the most adorable police chase you will ever see.

"We got a call from a concerned motorist of two dogs running on the freeway northbound I-17 near deer valley," Arizona State Trooper Kameron Lee said.

State troopers and firefighters were on the tails of the two furry, white puppies for about an hour. At times, the dogs barely dodged disaster. Only one of them was caught on the freeway.

The other, finally split into a mobile home park where first responders and residents chased and chased and at last cornered the dog behind one of the homes.

The pooped pups were reunited and brought to the county's Animal Care and Control center. They were dirty and one had an eye infection.

"Immediately when they realized no one was going to hurt them they just loved up on us. They are really really friendly dogs."

Caretakers are trying to find out who and where their owners are.. if they can't, the dog duo will be put up for adoption as soon as they get a clean bill of health.

The dogs were not injured during the chase.
