ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Sébastien Bourdais pulled off a major upset at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

This is Bourdais' first win in his adopted hometown of St. Petersburg.

The French driver went from last place to first to capture his 36th victory, breaking a tie with Bobby Unser for sixth on IndyCar's career win list.

Simon Pagenaud finished in 2nd place and Scott Dixon finished 3rd. Pagenaud was around ten seconds behind Bourdais.
