TAMPA, Fla. (WTSP) – Travelers looking for a Caribbean getaway will soon have a new cruise option departing from Port Tampa Bay.
Carnival Cruise Line announced on Thursday it will add a new ship, the Carnival Miracle, that will make 7-day voyages throughout the Caribbean Sea to destinations in Mexico, Honduras, Belize and the Cayman Islands.
The first cruise will depart in January 2018, and the 2,100 passenger ship will make trips year-round.
The Carnival Miracle will also make a special excursion to the Panama Canal in April 2018.
This ship will be the second year-round Caribbean cruise ship to make trips to and from Port Tampa Bay.
