St. Petersburg, Fl – The second annual St. Pete Wine & Food Festival is right around the corner. It runs Nov. 2 – 6 and organizers are hoping for some cooler weather.
“We hope so, that’s the reason we changed our date,” says founder Dawna Stone. “We are really excited about our new date and the festival is going to bigger and better.”
Wednesday’s Charity Wine Pairings Dinner is already sold out, but you still have plenty of other options.
New this year is Thursday’s Tacos & Tequila night hosted by Red Mesa. Friday is Beer night and Stone says there’s a wide variety of craft beers to taste. “It’s going to be absolutely incredible; some of the breweries are making beers just for this event,” explains Stone. And the Grand Tastings featuring wine and food from dozens of restaurants runs Saturday and Sunday.
Along with VIP tickets, the festival also offers private cabanas. Those are new this year.
Tickets to the event are all-inclusive, so once you are through the gate, the tastings of food and drink are free. “The chefs are going all out, so you need to come hungry and thirsty,” Stone advises.
