The Duggars officially welcomed another member to their growing family Saturday, when soccer player Jeremy Vuolo married Jinger Duggar, the sixth child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.
The Duggars are famous in part from the now-cancelled TLC series 19 Kids and Counting, which ended in 2015 after the sexual abuse scandal involving Josh Duggar, the oldest child. Vuolo and Jinger's relationship has been featured in a new TLC series, Counting On.
The proud parents of the bride confirmed the wedding in a video message posted on YouTube on Saturday.
The couple were married in Siloam Springs, Ark., according to People.com, which also reported that Jinger's sister, Jessa Seewald, was the maid of honor, and Vuolo's brother, Charles, was best man. Jinger previously has said that she met her husband through Jessa. The newlyweds' engagement was announced in July.
Jinger and Vuolo posted the happy status update news on their website. The message with a photo of the couple in their wedding attire, reads: "YES! We are married! We are so thankful to God, our parents and our wonderful families and friends for celebrating this day with us and for helping us arrive at this moment in time. We love that we now are beginning our lives together as one, before God."
The wedding will be featured in a TLC special Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding, Nov. 15, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
