Yep, as part of their winter accessories collection, they're selling three-inch stilettos sitting on a platform of a wheel and a brake with another wheel under the heel. They'll run you just under $2,000, not counting the medical bills they'll surely incur.
Maybe YSL's creative director, Anthony Vaccarello, is already looking ahead to the inevitable next phase his accessory expansion: designer orthopedic boots. Let's face it: the brand is going to have a built-in market once the most daring members of the roller derby and drag queen community go for a ride in these death traps.
And supermodels, if you're reading this, demand extra money at Fashion Week this fall.
