Arena Football player Traco Rachal is driven to set a good example on the field and off. See his story. Tampa, Florida- Picking off passes or picking up teammates. Traco Rachal always has a message in his mission. Traco Rachal, Storm Defensive Back: "That's part of my role here on this team is to be an inspiration... On the field, off the field, just to be that encouraging voice." Traco doesn't just take that to heart. He also takes it to the stage. Back in college at Texas A&M Commerce, Traco began writing and performing Christian Rap. "Really, all it is, is the word that I'm speaking," says Traco. He figures he has penned more than 100 songs the past ten years. With his group 'Grace and Mercy,' he's working on a 3rd CD. "Anyone that listens to my music of has ever heard it, knows that there's a deep message in there. I love to give that message whenever possible. Anything that I've gone through, I hope that it will be able to benefit someone else, stop them from going through or making that same mistake I did."Back on the field, Traco continues to share his faith, but not so much in words but in actions. He leads a daily post practice prayer. Brett Dietz, Storm Quarterback: "You know he's the one that gets us together. If I'm talking to a receiver, he'll be like, 'Brett, come over, you know, it's time'. It's good to have somebody to rely on that knows they got your back. It holds us together. Whether it's eight of us, or it's all of us, you know, we hold hands, we pray together. It is bonding." Once again, for Traco, it's just about giving back. "Anything I can do to help the next person out, I will make myself available for that person." says Traco.
