Caroline Kreitz has been arrested after leaving a sleeping toddler in a car outside the Club 54 Bar on 54th Avenue North, in St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg, Florida - Caroline Kreitz has been arrested after leaving a sleeping toddler in a car outside the Club 54 Bar on 54th Avenue North, in St. Petersburg.

Pinellas County Deputies say they responded to a call from the Bar just after 1:00 a.m., Sunday after Patrons of the bar reported seeing a sleeping child in the back seat of a white Toyota 4-door.

According to deputies the windows were rolled up and the doors were locked while the child slept.

Deputies say they found Kreitz at the establishment were she claims to have been there for only 15-20 minutes, however bar employees say she was there for at least an hour and had purchased drinks.

The child was removed from the vehicle uninjured and placed into the care of Sheriff's Child Protection Investigators. Ms. Kreitz was arrested and booked into the Pinellas County jail.
