Gator found in pool of vacant Pasco County home

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Deputies with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office found a gator in the pool of a vacant home on Tuesday.

Sheriff’s deputy Chris Stockton found the gator at the residence on Bass Lake Drive between Royal Palm Avenue and Weslock Drive.

Stockton contacted a trapper, who captured the gator and safely relocated it.
