Breeze is a 1yr old male coonhound mix who weighs about 45 lbs. He was transferred to the Suncoast Animal League from a rural shelter in Alabama, where he had been patiently waiting to find a home for a long time and had little chance of being adopted.

He's as sweet as southern iced and has the laid-back personality you would expect in a hound dog, but he's young enough to be fun and playful at times too. He's pretty quiet most of the time, but you've gotta love it when he sings with his awesome trademark hound dog bay!

Since he was in a shelter for an extended period of time and hasn't been in a home environment for a while, he's not 100% housebroken yet, but we're working on it with him and he's doing very well. He's very smart and is eager to please. He's good with other dogs, but we haven't tested him with cats yet. A fenced backyard will be an adoption requirement for him.

Breeze has been neutered, microchipped and is up-to-date on shots.

Meet him at the Suncoast Animal League office at 1030 Pennsylvania Ave, Palm Harbor or call 727-786-1330 with any questions.
