Ybor City, Florida - It started as a picnic day for cigar workers and now Fiesta Day enters its 67th year. It could well be the longest-running event in the Tampa Bay area.
On Saturday, February 22, 7th Avenue in Ybor City will be closed to traffic and instead filled nearly 100 vendors and crowds of visitors.
"We're excited about Fiesta Day," says Tom Keating, Ybor Chamber President. "We get 20,000 people... that is, if the weather is good."
Fiesta Day features Latin music and ethnic food prepared by Ybor restaurants. It runs from 11 am to 6 pm. For more information click here.
