Lighting of 9-foot menorah will help kick off Hanukkah in St. Petersburg

Tuesday's ceremony is open to anyone, regardless of religion.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Chabad Jewish Center of Greater St. Petersburg will host the 15th Annual Chanukah in the City on Tuesday at the Sundial.

The ceremony is open to anyone, regardless of religion. It will feature music, food, entertainment and the lighting of a 9-foot menorah.

“We invite all to celebrate Hanukkah once again as a community on Dec. 12, and to be inspired to spread more light and goodness in our lives and the world around us, bringing it to a state of perfection,” said Rabbi Alter Korf of Chabad Jewish Center.

Singer-songwriter Lazer Lloyd will put one live concert during this year's event.
