New Year's Eve events in Tampa Bay

A list of many of the New Year's events in the area from parties to theme parks to fireworks.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Outback Bowl New Year's Eve Parade

  • Starting at 5:30 pm along 7th Avenue in Ybor City
  • No coolers, glass containers, or open alcohol is allowed
  • Cost is free

Florida Aquarium News Year's Aqua Eve

  • From 9 pm until 1 am at The Florida Aquarium in Tampa
  • No one under 21 will be allowed
  • General admission tickets are $130 and include aquarium access, food and drink samples, fireworks show, and champagne toast at midnight

New Year's Eve at Busch Gardens

  • 10165 N. McKinley Dr., Tampa
  • Open 9 am December 31 until 1 am January 1
  • Celebration is included with park admission
  • Price: Single-park, single day admission is $89.99

Kids' New Year's Party at Legoland

  • One Legoland Way, Winter Haven
  • Park is open from 10 am until 8 pm
  • They will drop a giant LEGO brick as they count down to 2018 at the kid-friendly time of 8 p.m., followed by our biggest fireworks show of the year
  • Price: Single-day admission is $79.99 for adults; $73.99 for children and seniors

Noon Year's Eve Celebration at Sky Zone

  • Begins at 11 am 10137 E. Adamo Dr., Tampa
  • Child friendly

First Night St. Petersburg

  • Starting at 4 pm in Downtown St. Petersburg at Sundial and The Pier
  • No alcohol; music , drama, games , comedy, lights, dance, fire, bubbles, stories, creative fun, fireworks, and more!
  • Price: $15 adults, $10 children 6-12
