LAKE WALES, Fla. -- The Lake Wales Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding possible witnesses to a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run on Feb. 8.
According to police, the pedestrian was hit and killed around 1:39 a.m. on 885 Hwy 60 near the Eastbound exit ramp to Southbound Hwy 27 in Lake Wales.
Detectives are hoping to find and speak to the drivers and passengers of two additional witness vehicles, including what they believe to be a silver or gray 2006-2011 Chevrolet Impala and a white semi tractor-trailer with no markings.
