ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Florida International University Panthers will play the Temple Owls in the Gasparilla Bowl.
The game will be played at 8 p.m. ET Thursday, Dec. 21, at Tropicana Field.
ESPN will broadcast the game, which is formerly known as the St. Petersburg Bowl. Tropicana Field has hosted the annual bowl game since 2008.
FIU (8-4, 5-3 Conference USA) enters the bowl game on a two-game winning streak.
Temple (6-6, 4-4 American) beat Tulsa 43-22 in its final regular season game to become bowl eligible.
