FDA: Mislabeled Heinz Homestyle Gravy Recalled

DETROIT -- Hundreds of cases of Heinz brand gravy are being voluntarily recalled by Kraft Heinz Company because they may have been mislabeled.

The FDA says some jars may be mislabeled.   What looks like Heinz Pork Gravy might actually be Heinz Home Style Bistro au jus gravy.   That recipe could contain milk and soy.

People with allergies to milk or soy or are severely sensitive to them run the risk of a serious or even life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume it.  

About 500 cases of the product are affected by the recall. All were distributed to US. retailers.

Anyone who has questions or wants to request a refund by phone can call the company at 1-866-572-3808 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST.
